Jay joined the company under its original ownership of Martin Trooskin as a sales consultant in the fall of 1986. He brings many years of drafting and architecture design expertise including 2 college degrees in design & contracting. After 8 years of training to make sure his company would be in good hands “Marty” was ready to retire. At this time Jay brought a partner into the picture and in January 1994 they took over “Economy Kitchens” & re-incorporated under its new name “Economy Kitchens & Baths” to serve their clients better and to expand their abilities. Now after more than 3 decades of service, Jay is once again looking to expand into to consulting field specializing in HOME REDESIGN and ADDITIONS. As an interior design contractor with a heavy real estate background including a Realty license for over 20 years, Jay has recognized the need to “HELP” people layout their new or existing home floor plans from something as simple as moving a doorway to create better flow to rearranging the inside of part or all of the entire house, including additions for kitchens, baths, master suites and aging in place. To date the bulk of jobs Jay has completed have been either repeat or referral customers demanding only the best.

With over 20+ years of design experience, Susan joined EKB in Spring 2003. With a B.A. in Arts Education, focusing on design, Susan creates 20-20 computerized designs of your kitchen or bath.
